Ines has over 30 years of experience in the medical industry. She studied and worked in her own clinical practice as a primary healthcare practitioner for 15 years, and understands the pressures of wanting to be everything to everyone. The phone calls at 11pm on a Sunday night from a distraught oncology patient who is feeling lonely and afraid. The missed opportunities from missed calles (even when she DID pick up the phone at 11pm on a Sunday night).

From 15 years of managing her own clinic, Ines made the huge leap into medical sales and worked the next 15 years in Med-Tech and Medical AI Sales in Hospitals, Day Surgeries, Consulting Suites and the like, selling surgical equipment which was becoming more and more AI-focused. What fascinated here, was not only the huge number and types of algorithms depending on the equipment and situation, but also how the AI she was working with was designed to ASSIST and WORK WITH the surgeons, not ‘replace or displace’ anybody.

This was in complete contradiction to what Ines had been seeing fed to the general public in the media, in her socials, etc... and it gave her an idea!

Even with the best administrative supporting staff, the nature of the industry means that patients are frequently anxious, work long hours, and can’t get a hold of us when they feel like they need to.

Often, they are also not confident speaking on the phone – they may have been given an explanation by their GP of their condition and why they are being referred, but they didn’t fully understand the meaning... or they’re just frightened.  All the biiiiig medical terms and mountains of paperwork are perfectly normal to those of us that work in the industry daily, but they are COMPLETELY alien to the patient!

What if there was someone available 24/7/365 to assist those patients with their needs, who was fully trained, kind, polite and helpful?

... and that’s how AI Medical Wizard was born!
